Rushmore wird das Crazy Horse Memorial durch sogenannte &#8222;Mountain Carver&#8220; (zu deutsch Bergschnitzer) erstellt. Rushmore darstellen und ist mittlerweile ein Kultort der American Natives, wie die US-Indianer heute bezeichnet werden. Das Visitorcenter ist sch\u00f6n angelegt, Restaurants sind vorhanden und man kann eigentlich den ganzen Tag hier verbringen. Mount Rushmore dagegen ist einfach nur ein Fotostop. Kann man auch vom Highway aus machen und dann weiterfahren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e4chstes Ziel war jetzt der Custer State Park. Trotz &#8222;High Season&#8220; mit Ferien und Holiday Weekend zum Unabh\u00e4ngigkeitstag am 4. Juli war hier relativ wenig los.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00fcr die Bisonpirsch hatte man uns empfohlen, so fr\u00fch wie m\u00f6glich auf die Wildlife Road zu fahren.  Also hie\u00df es fr\u00fch raus. 6.45 AM waren wir unterwegs. Nachdem wir ca. 1 Stunde im Gew\u00fchl der Herde waren, hatten wir es geschafft. Ein Bison hatte unser Wohnmobil gen\u00fc\u00dflich abgeleckt. Sp\u00e4ter trafen wir auf Leute, die auf der Motorhaube eine sch\u00f6ne lange Macke hatten. Da hatte sich wohl ein B\u00fcffel verewigt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nach der Bisonjagd fuhren wir dann nach Custer. Ein typisches winziges Westernkaff, aber mit durchaus interessanten Gesch\u00e4ften. Das Donald Trump-T-Shirt gab es in mehreren Versionen: f\u00fcr Trump-Hasser und Trump-W\u00e4hler.
